This bike's are ordered and they come with a rear rack and two large rear panniers . Also a helmet , water bottle and lock is included so only bring these items if you prefer your own . A small backpack may be useful and I am thinking of buying a small handlebar bag . If we are lucky it will be shorts and t shirts all the way but we have to be prepared for rain and a chilly sea breeze , so light waterproofs and fleece will be needed . Suitcase's and any extra luggage not taken on the ride can be left in the apartment (5 min walk from Sagres Time ) or it may be possible to leave them at Sagres Time . Sagres Time is self catering and there is a fish, butchers and vegetable market 2 minutes walk away . If any one wants more detailed information of the cycle routes I have them on Strava
